Today was a grace-filled day. It had to be. Everything went well. The kids ate breakfast quietly and were attentive during reading. When the principal came in for a quick walk-through, the kids were all on-task and (apparently) impressive : ) The day went smoothly and quickly. Really. 2:00 came so fast!
It had some not-so-good moments, like two dumb meetings, but my interactions with the kids were great. Even my two boys with special needs did wonderful. The one who so often tells me that he hates school was eager to see me this morning, and never once got angry or complained. My boy who often demonstrates 3 year old maturity sat on the floor and listened to me without bugging anyone next to him (for a grand total of 5 minutes- which beats his previous record by 400%!!)
Please pray that this is not a one-day honeymoon, but rather real growth. Tomorrow is my first formal observation. I'm not really nervous, but you never know what could happen : )

Maybe they found out that a whole week without seeing you is a bummer. Will pray that tomorrow is a super day!
