Weekend Update

So last night was full of new experiences... Ben and Ross and I went to a Mexican restaurant close to our house that was absolutely delicious and quite reasonable priced and, as Ross put it, in regards to portions, "I think they are trying to compete with Claim Jumpers..." It was very yummy, but also meant lots of leftovers.... Not ideal when your planning to leave town for a week.

Then we went over to Ben's girlfriend's house (I bet two dozen faces just lit up : ) and played Guitar Hero. I have never played this game before- and am NOT a videogame fan, but it is very fun. It's a videogame, but you use a plastic guitar as a controller and have to push buttons and "strum" your guitar at the same time that the notes pass by on the screen. If you play well, it actually feels like you are playing the song, if you don't- well, it sounds horrible.

Ross and Ben were getting a kick out of watching me play and my utter persistance to complete a song. It was good fun.

Then today we went to church and came home and started packing. We are now in the weird anticipation/anxiety stage of pre-vacation. We looked up maps and directions one more time on the computer and are pretty confident that leaving by 7:00 am will do it.

Please pray for us this week! Pray that we have safe travels in the car and on the boat. Please pray that we would remain healthy and energetic. Please pray that Ross and I would have a blessed time together- growing in oneness and love.

I will think of and pray for you as well. No posting for a while- it's time for vacation!

Ben told me about your Guitar Hero addiction. Please realize before it's too late that there's more to life than just video games! ;-)

Can't wait to hear all about your adventures on your cruise - hope you both love it and want to go again!

Ben has a new girlfriend? Oh wait, I knew that...

If you and Ross grow any closer in "oneness and love" some of us might be sick. You two need to change your names to Rob and Laura Petrie anyways.

Have a great time, pray we do to on our little expedition!
